Once the estimator has completed the walk-through, they will walk you back to the office, write the preliminary estimate and provide you a copy of the damages of your vehicle. If this is claim related, we will submit a copy to your insurance company. Please note, the preliminary estimate does not include any hidden damage of the vehicle. F.A.Q
Below are some of the frequent questions customers ask.
The insurance company sent me to a shop of their choice for repairs. Do I have to take it there? No. You as the owner of the vehicle have the right to choose which repair facility to take it to. The insurance company can not interfere in that decision, by law you have the right to choose your repair facility. The insurance already wrote an estimate, can I bring it in? Yes! Bring in your estimate and our estimator will go over it with you. If you agree, you can leave your vehicle at our shop so we can begin the repairs. If additional damage is found, we will contact you and your insurance company and create a supplement. How long will my vehicles repair take? After the estimator writes up the estimate, he/she will inform you of the total days it may take. Please note that if additional damage is found in the process or if parts are backed ordered, it will most likely take additional days. Which ever the case is, our staff will inform you. What if additional damage is found on my vehicle? If additional damage is found on your vehicle while we are repairing it, we will submit a supplement to the insurance company. A supplement is adding "hidden damage" that was not visible and written on the original estimate. This damage is found when the techs begin dismantling your vehicle and is usually underneath all the visible damage. At this point we need to stop all repairs and report it to the insurance. Once the insurance approves the supplement, we may begin working on your vehicle. How will I know if my vehicle is done and ready for pick up? Our staff will call, email you or text you throughout the process. You are always welcome to give us a call if you have questions. How can I get a rental when my vehicle is getting repairs done? We can help you set up a rental with a company of your choice. If you are not sure if you have rental coverage, call the insurance and they can verify for you. Once you are ready to drop off your vehicle, we can have the rental company pick you up at our shop or we can drop you off at the rental location. Do I have a deductible? If you are unsure of the amount of your deductible, contact the insurance company and they can verify for you before you drop of your vehicle for repairs. Who do I pay the deductible to? You pay the deductible at the shop when you come and pick up your vehicle after the repairs are complete. Please note we are not able to waive your deductible. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and cash. You can also call us and make a payment over the phone. Can I wash my car after a paint job? We strongly advise you to only wash your car by hand for the first 30 days. This will allow the paint/clear to set it and harden. Wait at least 3 months before you wax your car. Do Not Use Dish Soap. This may strip the paint. Use the appropriate car wash soap like Meguar's Gold Class." Use a scratch free, lint free towel to completely dry the car. Hose down the car with cool water only. It is recommended that your freshly painted car is garaged or kept away from trees and bird droppings as this may damage the paint. I am not going through insurance. What is your policy of self-paying customers? No insurance, no problem. On your initial estimate ,your estimator or front office staff will inform you of the charges. We will require payment up front for the parts that will be ordered. The remaining balance would be due when you come and pick up your vehicle. If you have any questions about being a self-pay customer, please call us to discuss further. **Financing Available check our "Finance" tab for more information.**** Can you tow my vehicle to your shop?
